Australian fashion label KITX has collaborated with Marrickville-based fashion designer Citizen Wolf to launch a unisex made-to-order capsule collection.

It features all-inclusive signature Activism Tees, and also marks the first time KITX is offering menswear.

The capsule is made locally in Sydney, and includes five different styles of print and slogan tees. It uses biodegradable fabrics of hemp and organic cotton through a sustainable fashion system for virgin material creation.

It is created with Citizen Wolf’s innovative Magic Fit technology, which measures a customer’s height, weight, age and bra size, for a 94% accurate fit from 196 million data points.

Citizen Wolf said the customisable nature of the product has led to four times fewer returns and an overall increase in customer loyalty.

The software has been installed on the KITX website, and is the first time Citizen Wolf has shared this technology.

KITX founder Kit Willow said this is a key venture for her sustainable fashion label.

“The status quo of the fashion system is broken with too many natural resources being consumed to create an oversupply of fashion that gets discarded, ending up in an ever-increasing landfill pile,” Willow said. “I believe Citizen Wolf’s business model introduces a viable solution to create custom-made fashion with zero waste and zero oversupply and I’m so excited to be partnering with them on this capsule collection to introduce this new technology to the KIT X customer.”

Citizen World cofounder Zoltan Csaki said the brand’s goal has been to license its Magic Fit technology to power other brands in their shift towards a made-to-order model.

“[It] offers all the benefits of custom-fit to their customers for the first time, including an infinite size range.”

The Activism Tee retails for $155 with the product delivered within four weeks of ordering. It will be available online at both Citizen Wolf and KITX.
