Australian swimwear label Barbora Swim has launched its debut 10-piece collection, 'In the Beginning.'
The all two-piece collection features blush, rose pink and khaki tones finished with gold hardware details.
Founded and designed by sisters Natalia and Stephanie Lampante – the sisters behind apparel brand Kin – the duo said they had been working on the brand for over a year before launch.
"We started to embrace our creative passion from a young age, from photography, design, graphics and music we were always looking for ways to feel and see more in everything we did," Natalia said.
"The Barbora namesake itself plays a very special homage to our Oma, Barbara, whose name in Hungarian is Bora and who first inspired us," she said.
"She was a passionate artist, an eloquent dressmaker and a talented tailor who could take a piece of chalk, a tape measure, some cloth and thread and create a piece of architecture," Stephanie said.
"We like to think our grandmother’s gift of exceptional artistic design is woven into the perfect fit, timeless style, and enduring quality of every Barbora piece.
"We have been working on the brand for over a year and while the ethos of Barbora was born in the backyard pool in Brisbane there is no doubt our European heritage has greatly influenced the distinct aesthetic of the label," she said.
The collection is available to purchase online from the Barbora website and is priced for between $69 and $89.
