International pop star Katy Perry has made a venture into Aussie retailing.

Katy Perry has launched a temporary pop up store showcasing props and costumes from previous concert tours.

Perry, who is currently on tour in Australia, will also offer fans the chance to purchase merchandise.

The Melbourne store will be open for the next six days, before moving to Sydney for a week-long residency commencing November 21.

Situated in Little Lonsdale Street, the store will trade from 10am to 6pm and offer a range of exclusive products.

These include t-shirts, hats, glasses, singlets and accessories priced largely between $30 to $50.

Display items include a cupcake dress and gingerbread men from Perry's California Dreams world tour, a robot from the E.T. music promo and a giant banana that Perry sat on while hosting the MTV European Music Awards in 2008.
