Kathmandu has appointed Ben Ryan as general manager of product, following the resignation of the incumbent Michelle Adams.
CEO Xavier Simonet welcomed Ryan to the team.
"In his new role, Ben Ryan is going to be a key asset for Kathmandu as we aspire to become a more global brand and step by step tackle the international opportunity.
"Our business and our brand are first and foremost about designing and creating great products and Ben’s appointment will strengthen our focus on this area."
Ryan has over 20 years of experience in the outdoor and action sports industry, particularly within Asia and Australasia.
He has worked for international brands such as The North Face, VANS and Salomon.
Ryan spent nearly four years with Amer Sports, developing the Salomon brand within the Asia Pacific markets and over five years with VF Corporation based in Hong Kong in product and global strategy roles.
He joined Kathmandu in May 2015 as group product manager.
