Jeanswest is set to launch Cotton Australia's largest woven womenswear collaboration in stores later this month.

Jeanswest joined a farm tour in Narrabri, northern NSW, as it developed the collection.

Jeanswest womenswear senior product manager Lisa Hunter said travelling to cotton country allowed the group to better understand local sourcing.

We were thrilled to be standing in a cotton field, where it all begins, at the very start of a manufacturing supply chain.”

The blue and white capsule collection includes an off-the-shoulder top, striped shirt and dress styles, as well as an indigo jean.

Nine mix fashion styles will launch into stores and online on September 19.

Starting at $59.99, the range will offer sizes six to 16.

Cotton Australia CEO Adam Kay said the supports sustainable practices.

"It also means you’re standing beside farmers, and the 150 local communities they support across Queensland and New South Wales where cotton grows.”
