Iconic designers Leona Edmiston and Charlie Brown will join Jayson Brunsdon at Myer Sydney City tomorrow to celebrate the launch of his debut Home Collection for the department store.

The Jayson Brunsdon Home Collection will launch via a VIP morning tea from 10.30am and is to include homewares created by Brunsdon exclusively for Myer, along with his special range of furniture, designed in collaboration with Australian furniture company Moran.

Brunsdon said the range, which will be sold through 45 Myer stores in all states, will reflect his usual design aethetic translated to home accessories. These will include heavy-based glass vases, 500 thread count sateen sheets, plush combed cotton towels, printed quilt covers and fine bone china dinnerware, as well as other products for all areas of the home including the bed, bath, living and dining rooms.

“I've always been inspired by classic lines, a purity of shape and appreciation of elegance. My Jayson Brunsdon Home Collection reflects these ideals in a chic and modern way,” he said.

Myer group general manager merchandise Adam Stapleton said the company welcomed the new addition to its home and living brand stable.

“Jayson is highly regarded for his unique take on classic design and we are very excited to collaborate with him on this fantastic new range. He is an icon of the Australian fashion industry, his name is synonymous with stylish and elegant design and we’re delighted to bring this aesthetic to our customers in the form of homewares,” he said.

Other guests confirmed to attend the event, along with Myer designers Edmiston and Brown, are Natalie Barr and Alex Zabotto Bentley.
