Classifieds website Gumtree has revealed insights into its fashion listings and interactions between Australian sellers and buyers.
The site said that in 2015 it experienced a 15% increase from the previous year in fashion listings to over two million.
Women's clothing is now ranked the fourth most popular category on Gumtree with an estimated 124,000 listings currently live on the site.
Across the entire apparel and accessories offering, the number of listings across Australia totals around 300,000.
In terms of the most popular brands, sports brand Nike is leading the pack with around 6,000 listings, Guess is next at 3,000, Lorna Jane and Camilla at 1,000 and Zimmermann at 270.
It's believed that consumers are flocking to the site in a bid to accrue savings on fashion purchases.
According to Gumtree, buyers are reportedly saving up to 60% on the RRP for fashion items listed on the site.
