Swedish homewares giant Ikea has teamed with British fashion designer Kit Neale for a limited-edition collection.

In a surprise twist, the range will not be launching in Sweden or England.

Australia will be the first to receive the SPRIDD collection before it rolls out around the world next year.

In stores on November 14, SPRIDD will be available until sold out.

Neale quickly gained traction when he established his namesake brand in 2012.

Today, the designer is considered to be one of the most exciting emerging talents on the London fashion scene.

The range is inspired by three musical movements: electronic, 90s hip hop and grunge.

This sees a mix of items in kaleidoscopic patterns offset, bubblegum visuals and black and white accents.

The collection includes tents, bags, boxes, rugs, mugs, bowls, travel mugs and cushion covers.

Ikea country interior design manager Tiffany Buckins hinted more fashion collaborations could be in the pipeline.

“At Ikea, we are excited to be bringing products created by high end designers, like Kit Neale, into Australian homes.”
