Hugo Boss Australia has appointed Nick Troedson as its new regional director of marketing and communications SEAPAC. 

Troedson brings over 20 years’ experience across luxury communications, marketing, creative direction, styling and visual merchandising to Hugo Boss. 

He has previously worked at Dolce & Gabbana and most recently served as head of PR, luxury division at Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter.

Speaking on the appointment, he said that he is excited to work with the Boss brand on developing key marketing and communication strategies in the SEAPAC region.

"I am thrilled to be joining the Hugo Boss team.

"Having resided overseas for the majority of my career it is a privilege to be part of such an iconic global brand and to also be returning to my home town.

"I look forward to working with the incredible talent across the Asia Pacific and global markets and to lead the marketing and communication functions in both existing and new markets in the region.

"Hugo Boss is a truly global brand, a market leader and with very exciting projects on the horizon I am incredibly excited to be part of this dynamic company," he said. 

Hugo Boss Australia's previous regional head of marketing and communications (South East Asia, Far East Asia & Oceania) was Vanessa Marven who departed the role in October 2019.
