Non-profit organisation The Social Studio has joined the fight against COVID-19.
The Australian enterprise, which empowers refugees to produce sustainable fashion, has re-directed its efforts to help healthcare workers.
The Studio is currently producing urgently needed scrubs at cost price.
The initiative was set up with the help of Vic Health CEO Dr Sandro Demaio.
Hanes, parent company of Bonds and Bras N Things, has also diversified its manufacturing operations in this time of need.
The group has converted production from apparel to FDA-approved cotton masks.
