Australian eyewear label Pared has revealed its expansion plans for South-East Asia with the brand announcing it will launch in China and Singapore over the coming months.

As part of its move, the brand will partner with two major distribution partners to facilitate its launch into the two new markets.

VIP.com will handle the brand's launch in China through its online platform while multi-brand retailer On Pedder will stock the brand in two of its stores in Singapore.

Pared had previously launched expansion operations into Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and Hong Kong with the brand also featuring at London Fashion Week earlier this year as part of a Designers Abroad showcase.

Speaking on the Chinese launch, Pared co-founder Ed Baker said the move would allow the company to reach a new market through ecommerce channels in the country.

“In China, it is all about eCommerce and in-app shopping and we are thrilled to be working with China's market leader in this space.

“We already have a strong following in the Asian market and we are excited to be partnering with a major distribution partner which will give our customer easier access to our Pared eyewear product.”
