Apparel is the second top-selling category in the Catch and Target partnership, Catch head of marketplace Steve Traplin revealed to Ragtrader.

In similar fashion to other retailers, Catch and Target have seen increases in lounge and activewear, with leggings, trackies, hoodies and slides proving popular.

"Sports shoes have also performed well, but it's definitely been more casual wear and the 'work from home uniform,'" Traplin said.

The Catch and Target partnership was launched in July 2020 to allow the businesses to each glean key benefits from each other.

Catch is able to offer Target products to its 1.5 million customers while also being able to utilise Target's store footprint for click-and-collect.

Meanwhile, Target can access Catch's customer base in the marketplace channel.

Traplin added that the Bluey licence in the kids apparel sector was also wildly popular.

"Bluey has been amazing. Bluey trackpants, Bluey t-shirts, Bluey anything has been amazing," he said.

Apparel follows kids toys in the ranking of popular categories in the Catch and Target partnership.

"Especially in lockdown," Traplin said.

"Toys and keeping the kids busy is a big thing," he said.
