Cotton On has been recognised for an online overhaul which saw it increase sales by 40%.

The retailer was awarded for Best Site User Experience at annual event, The All Star Bash, this week.

The win follows a two year transformation project, involving a rebuild all of sites worldwide.

In addition to a scalable platform allowing it to add new features, the rebuild added an analytics platform which provides live monitoring and trade reports.

By reacting to data trends, as well as being able to handle huge peaks in traffic during critical periods such as Cyber Weekend, Cotton On has grown online orders by 40%.

Cotton On Group head of digital customer experience Pete Hutchison said monitoring ongoing performance is vital to stay ahead.
