Men's department store Harrolds has boosted its business as it looks to expand further throughout the year.
The luxury department store, established in 1985 by brothers John and Theo Poulakis, has invested in a strategic hire and appointed Robert Ferris as its new menswear buyer, ahead of a period of growth for the business.
Ferris has a “strong background” in luxury menswear both in customer service and retail management and operations, having previously held the role of head of menswear at Liberty’s of London for three years.
According to the company, Ferris, who has worked with Harrolds since 2011, has also been an instrumental asset to the business, having worked closely alongside exiting creative director Chris Kyvetos.
The Harrolds team has thanked Kyvetos for his contribution to the business over the past three years and “wishes him all the best for his future endeavours”.
The team change also comes ahead of another set of transitions for the company, with 2013 set to mark "an exciting new phase" for Harrolds.
A new Tom Ford shop-in-shop will soon launch at the Harrolds flagship Melbourne store, and the brand has also confirmed the recent addition of Balenciaga to its exclusive portfolio of brands.
