Australian workwear brand Hard Yakka has launched a campaign with Australian TV personality Robert Irwin, adding to the brand’s ‘Meet the Legends’ series.
Irwin, who is also a conservationist and zookeeper at Australia Zoo, appears in a two-minute film that discusses his passions, work ethic, and how he uses photography to share conservation messages.
Hard Yakka Australia head of marketing Jayne Willmott welcomed the partnership with Irwin, saying him and the brand share values in sustainability and hard work.
“The fact that Robert’s been wearing our gear since he was the littlest conservationist certainly points to him being able to talk about Hard Yakka with authority,” Willmott said.
Created by the team at Hard Yakka Australia, the new episode shares a behind-the-scenes tour of the Australia Zoo, highlighting the work that the organisation does and the people who work there.
The episode will appear on the Hard Yakka Australia website and social media channels from today, providing insight into Irwin's journey, his love for the ocean and surfing, and his passion for photography.
Irwin said the partnership offers him a chance to share further messages around conservation.
“I’ve been in the Hard Yakka khakis all my life, and they have literally had my back, as we forge ahead protecting and preserving our unique wildlife,” Irwin said.
