H&M is bringing its green thumb to Australia.
Global retailer H&M is set to release its latest sustainability venture in Australia.
H&M will release its 2017 Conscious Exclusive collection in selected local stores from April 20.
This is the first time the collection will feature a children's range.
Products will include the use of the recycle polyester made from plastic shoreline waste, BIONIC.
The collections are part of the company's wider goal to have all cotton be 100% sustainably sourced by 2020.
H&M head of design and creative director Pernilla Wohlfahrt said the company is excited to showcase the collection and demonstrate the importance of sustainability.
“It’s great to be able to show just what is possible with sustainable materials like we have done with the delicate plissé dress made of BIONIC.”
As of 2015, H&M's product ranges have comprised of 20% more sustainable materials.
