Total half-year sales for the group hit NZ$275.2 million, with the group’s 2025 numbers indicating that Australia should make up around half of this revenue.

In FY2025, which ends around March 31 in New Zealand, Hallenstein Glassons accrued a total revenue of NZ$470.74 million, with its Glassons brand reporting NZ$251.52 million of this in Australia alone.

Hallensteins, meanwhile, made NZ$107.3 million across both Australia and New Zealand. This retailer has 41 stores in New Zealand and five in Australia.

In the short trading update by the group, signed by chairman Warren Bell, Hallenstein Glassons also reported its unaudited net profit before tax (NPBT) for the six months to February 1 this year should hit between NZ$39.3 million to NZ$39.8 million, which will be up 32.1 per cent on the prior year’s result

“The balance sheet for the Group remains strong and stock levels continue to be well controlled,” the trading update read.

“A full announcement with six months’ financial statements including a dividend declaration will be released to the market on 27 March 2026.”
