Haigh’s Chocolates and Australian couture house Paolo Sebastian have teamed up to create a gifting range, with part of the proceeds going towards Bowel Cancer Australia.
Paolo Sebastian led the packaging design of the new range, featuring colourways of soft pink, powder blue and deep navy finished with gold accents and design motifs.
Haigh’s head chocolatier Ben Kolly and Paolo Sebastian creative director and founder Paul Vasileff worked closely to develop the range.
Alongside limited-edition chocolates and keepsakes, the range also includes a Paolo Sebastian-designed apron along with a family recipe from Paul’s Nonna, as well as a teacup and saucer set. Both of these come with classic Haigh’s chocolates.
“Growing up, Haigh’s was a special piece of my childhood,” Vasileff said. “I recall receiving a box of beautifully assorted chocolates and how much it lit me up. As I became older, gifting Haigh’s to others became just as special. The opportunity to collaborate is such an honour.”
The limited-edition chocolates made by Kolly feature hazelnut, rose and floral flavours.
“I was deeply inspired by Paul’s stories and childhood memories of Haigh’s while developing the new and limited-edition chocolates for the gift range,” Kolly said. “We can’t wait for our customers to try them and experience this whimsical collection of gifts for themselves.”
The Haigh’s Chocolates x Paolo Sebastian gift range will be available in Haigh’s stores in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and online from September 22.
