Glue Store has set ambitious sustainability targets for its in-house brands Article One and Nude Lucy.
By the end of this year, the business wants both brands to be comprised of 50-75% sustainable fabrics.
Following the launch of its Future Choice initiative – its in-store and online sustainability program – Glue Store reflected on where it can make changes internally, head of marketing Charles Moore told Ragtrader.
"Future Choice is something that has been stirring under Glue for a long time and the whole team has been passionate about conscious choices for many years.
"After we had defined our sustainability pillars, we felt that there was a real opportunity for us to reflect on what should we be doing to change our processes," he said.
Alongside the improvements in its brands, Glue is also reducing the wastage produced by the campaign.
"The store teams are so impressed that the window posters are made out of recycled PET plastic," Moore added.
"The Future Choice hangers are also made from recycled PET plastic.
"All of the assets that we used, including the fabrics that we used for the photoshoot, will continue to get reused throughout the year," he said.
