Glue Store has partnered with Kini Swimwear to launch a pop-up customisation bar in stores.

The project will feature a design pod allowing customers to touch, feel and try on styles before designing their own unique swimwear.

Featuring 11 top styles and five bottom styles, it will aim to offer over 120 different variations to choose from with sizes ranging from 6-16.

Kini co-founder and brand director believes the partnership heralds a new demand from customers.

“It’s a natural progression for fashion, bringing online and traditional retail together.

“In essence, it’s a digital interpretation of traditional tailoring and bespoke apparel.”

Kini was previously available exclusively online.

Prices for the custom swimwear start from $45 for bottoms and $65 for tops and will be shipped directly to customers' doorstep within 14 days.

The design pods will be situated in Glue Store flagships until the end of January.
