Streetwear giant Glue Store has continued its expansion with a launch into new territory.
The brand, which recently revealed its total rebrand exclusively to Ragtrader [April 2014 print edition], has confirmed the release of its first exclusive essential men's range.
The debut menswear range, named 'Article1', is set to drop into stores nationally this month.
The collection comprises of wardrobe essentials designed to suit the sartorial lifestyle, with on-trend, easy-to-wear silhouettes made from high quality fabrications.
Key styles for the first drop of Article 1 will channel the urban sport trend, including drop crotch chinos with signature inner leg panels, cotton t-shirts and lightweight cotton shirting.
The styles incorporate a classic colour palette of white, navy and black.
Texture and print feature via classic Breton stripes, speckled fabrics and waffle knits.
Commenting on the launch of the range, Glue Store designer for Article 1 Sam Stewart said the new addition to the brand stable fills a gap in the menswear category.
“From track bottoms with slimlined legs to sweats with oversized cuff detail, we have created classic urban silhouettes with a strong street focus.
"The range offers the perfect basics for those looking for simplicity in fit with quality fabrics at a great price point,” he said.
“We have developed signature finishes for our ranging ; classic vintage pigment washes give a sense of history and a lived in feel, super fine cotton poplin with our secret softener wash makes the fabrication extremely soft to touch, and our signature side seam insert gives structure to the range.”
