Another European fashion giant has landed in Australia.
French fashion brand Daniel Hechter has launched its first Australian store in Perth at Brookfield Place, adding another location to its global retail network.
The Paris-based brand, sold in over 50 countries worldwide to date, will join the likes of retailers including Anna Thomas, Aradise, and menswear brand M.J Bale, at the Brookfield Place shopping precinct.
Commenting on the store launch, Daniel Hechter general manager Loic Lemarchand said the brand chose Perth as the first Australian store location due to its similarity to Paris city.
“You can close your eyes and imagine you are in Paris,” he said.
Lemarchand also added that the Perth flagship is just the beginning for the brand in Australia, with several more stores in the pipeline across the country over the next few years.
“This is a first step in this very dynamic and fast progressing country, unlike our old Europe,” he said.
