New Zealand-born retailer Glassons will join other key fashion brands in a new fashion and lifestyle precinct at Westfield Knox.

Opening November 23, the new precinct is part of a $355 million redevelopment process by the centre, with other leases signed by local and international brands such as Uniqlo, JD Sports, General Pants and Glue Store.

“We know the Knox community will enjoy shopping our range of trending and must-have pieces, wardrobe staples and everything in between, and we are thrilled to be bringing Glassons to the new fashion and lifestyle precinct at Westfield Knox,” Glassons property and logistics manager Sam Glasson said.

Spanning 1,154 square metres, the new Uniqlo Knox store will feature 10 fitting rooms and five self-checkout machines. It will sell the latest 2023 Spring/Summer range including a linen range and wardrobe essentials.

Uniqlo Australia hired 57 new team members and transferred five existing team members, according to CEO Fuminori Adachi.

“They have done such a great job getting the store ready, and they are looking forward to helping Westfield Knox customers and providing everyone a great experience,” Adachi said.

“We are very excited to be part of Westfield Knox’s significant investment into the area, and to bring Tokyo to local customers with our LifeWear range.”

The launch of the new precinct coincides with the annual Westfield Week of Offers sales event, incorporating Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

To celebrate the launch, Westfield Knox will host exclusive giveaways, live music, roaming entertainment, and children’s entertainment.

“The new additions to our mix strengthen the destination we’re delivering, showcasing our commitment to bringing relevant and enticing brands to our customers and providing access to what they want locally,” Westfield Knox centre manager Kristian Nicholls said.
