One of Sydney's newest commercial art gallerines will open an exhibition of contemporary wearable art objects later this year.
.M Contemporary will stage the 'Intimately Connected' exhibition from September 16 to October 2014.
The exhibition will explore the connection between art, design and contemporary jewellery making.
All wearable art objects in the exhibition will be available for sale.
The works have been created by contemporary artists from Australia and around the world, including: Benja Harney (Australia); Bliss Lau (New York); Claire McArdle (Australia) and Zoe Robertson (Birmingham).
Other artists include: Natalie Dissel (Bali); Daniella Saraya (Israel); Reka Gottilieb (Budapest); Vacide Erda Zimic (Peru); Vincent Pontillio-Verrastro (Indiana) and Olga and Rok (Slovania).
The artists' have used unconventional materials such as bone, rubber, rare stones, found objects, acrylic glass and metal.
