Gasparre Cashmere will fly the Australian flag solo at the upcoming Hong Kong World Boutique later this month.
Gasparre Cashmere designer Rebecca McGeoch will be hosting an installation at the trade event, and has also been invited to participate in the Extravaganza runway show.
It will be the only local brand to show among a selection of international labels.
The cashmere classics brand will offer selected pieces from its upcoming spring/summer 2012/13 collection before it debuts in Australia next April.
McGeoch will be shooting a campaign for the collection on location in Sydney following the event, which runs from January 16 to 19.
The designer recently relocated to Hong Kong to work more closely with the brand's factory.
This has allowed her to attend more trade fairs and conventions and capitalise on events such as Hong Kong World Boutique.
While Gasparre Cashmere is known for using pure white cashmere from the kel goat, found in remote high altitude regions of Central Asia, the move has allowed her to explore innovative blends from organic soy and organic cotton to bamboo and modal.
The brand introduced a limited range of accessories for autumn/winter 2012, including cashmere-lined leather riding gloves and cashmere ballet slippers with a leather heel.
Gasparre Cashmere was launched in Woollahra, Sydney, in 2010.
