Australian bootmaker R.M.Williams has reopened the doors to its Melbourne Central store located in the Shot Tower.

The space was designed and built in collaboration with interior designer agency ACRD, and includes an expanded collection of the brand’s leather boots, apparel and accessories, as well as a dedicated Akubra hat shop-in-shop.

As part of the brand’s new store concept launched late last year, the new store will feature a boot wall using bricks by Krause. The store will also feature chairs and tables from Made by Morgen.

“We’re proud to have collaborated with ACRD, Krause and Made by Morgen on a number of store projects now, but this space is a particularly poignant environment to showcase their skills,” R.M.Williams head of brand environment Paul Giannangeli said.

“Bringing this thoughtful artistry to their local Melbourne audience feels very true to the story of our brand, and to RM’s enduring commitment to local craftsmanship of all fields and disciplines.”

The brand housed a Big Boot in the Shot Tower store on April 1 as part of grand reopening plans, and will host its ‘If the boot fits’ competition from April 5 to 7 where store patrons can win a pair of R.M.Williams boots.

The redesigned store joins R.M.Williams overall retail footprint which includes over 60 retail stores in Australia, four stores in New Zealand and two stores in the United Kingdom.
