Australian fashion trade fair Fashion Exposed has secured a Lady Gaga exclusive.
New York-based designer Rodrigo Otazu will reveal his costume jewellery collaboration with singer Lady Gaga at the spring/summer 2012/13 event, which runs from February 12-14 at Sydney Exhibition Centre.
This will be the first time the collection, which consists of crystals, pearls and silver, is seen and the items will soon be available at Australian stockists.
Vogue Australia was the launching pad for Otazu's career and he subsequently created ranges of deluxe costume jewellery for Prêt-a-Porter, consisting of silver collections and unique one off diamond pieces.
“Sexuality is the most important element in my work, it is all about chemistry,” Otazu said. “Fashion is about being seductive and elegant and this follows through into my work.”
