G-Star Australia is in a rough spell - but the courts have granted it some good news.
The Court of Appeal has ordered Jeanswest to pay additional damages in a long-running dispute with the brand.
Jeanswest was ordered to pay $50,000 in additional damages for infringing G-Star's copyright on a style of biker jeans.
However, the court also set aside an earlier High Court ruling granting a premanent injuction on Jeanswest's Dean Biker slim jean.
G-Star Australia partner Denim Enterprises is currently in voluntary administration.
The company has also been less successful in prosecuting a market stall vendor in the courts this month.
The Federal Courts dismissed G-Star counterfeit claims against a stall holder in Fairfield and Flemington.
