The Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival is set to launch an international marketing and development program this year.
Up to three Australian labels showing at the festival, set to take place later this month, will be selected for the program.
Successful designers will work with an Australian industry advisor, a Europe industry consultant and a World Fashion Organization representative over the following two years.
Utilising their industry contacts and support networks to gather feedback on each brand, the selected candidates will be mentored to a level where they are acceptable to show in Paris and London.
Up to 12 Australian labels have registered to take part this year including Kultcha Collective (NSW), Annabelle & Eve (Gold Coast), Indrah Swimwear (Sunshine Coast) and Don't do Pretty (South Australia).
