Emerging designers will have the chance to spruik their collections in a new scene, with the Bizarre Bazaar twilight markets landing in Sydney next week.
The fourth installment of Bizarre Bazaar, which aims to promote start-up local designers, will return to the city next Thursday, with a make-shift market to be set up "theclub" in Kings Cross, 33 Bayswater Road from 5-9pm.
The free event, run by event company A Series of Fortunate Events, will also feature entertainment for the evening including a live DJ, and work in conjunction with neighbouring bars and restaurants to attract Sydnersiders to the event.
According to project director, Christopher McLaren, the event traditionally generates an average audience of over 500 guests per market with a strong sales history for designers involved to date.
McLaren also revealed Bizarre Bazaar was recently featured in over 30 pieces of editorial last month, including Vogue, The Brag and Timeout Sydney, in an effort to garner media exposure in social, online and print media for designers debuting their collections at the market next week.
