Forever New MD Carolyn Mackenzie has revealed that the business remains committed to its sustainability journey and international expansion despite the challenges of this year.
Speaking to Ragtrader, Mackenzie said that the business is excited to expand into new markets.
"We’re on a long-term journey to improve our sustainable footprint and we’re looking forward to revealing more of what that looks like this year.
"We will be continuing to expand our international presence, with a new international site launching next month and we’re excited to be able to offer Forever New’s designs to more people in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East," she said.
Mackenzie added that over the past few months both the business and its customers have demonstrated how flexible they can be.
"It’s been so wonderful to see how agile and adaptive our teams can be.
"The last few months have demonstrated that our teams are just as productive working away from the office, in the hours that suit them, as they are working a typical 9-5 day in the office.
"We’ve also learned that we can get more done with less meetings.
"[Meanwhile] the biggest shift we’ve seen in consumer purchasing behaviour is that many of our customers that would typically only shop in bricks and mortar stores have started browsing and purchasing via our online e-store and are really enjoying the experience," she said.
