Forever New will continue its partnership with Dress for Success on International Women’s Day 2023.
The womenswear retailer will donate $10 for every Grace or Audrey Pants sold between March 4 and 19 to the not-for-profit organisation.
Forever New has recruited three ambassadors for its campaign this year, including author Maria Thattil, tennis coach Jelena Dovic and host of the Seize the Yay podcast Sarah Davidson.
Forever New MD Carolyn Mackenzie said the retailer has raised almost $100,000 in four years for Dress for Success through product donations, campaigns and internal donation drives.
“With this year’s inspiring ambassadors, we hope to exceed our previous donations and make an even larger contribution to Dress for Success for 2023,” Mackenzie said. “We love working with this organisation, they do such important work that truly impacts womens’ lives.”
Forever New has been involved in numerous charities over the years, making significant donations to the Australian Red Cross, Beyond Blue, CFA, Save The Children, Starlight Children’s Foundation and UNICEF.
“We understand that community outreach and charity initiatives make up an important part of our Conscious strategy and so, we will continue to explore different ways to contribute to worthy causes.”
Dress for Success will launch its annual Empower Hour for International Women’s Day on March 8, which will run during the month of March (Women’s History Month). It aims to support more than 700 additional women into employment.
"Empower Hour is a powerful opportunity for individuals and organisations across Australia to come together to make a tangible difference in the lives of women," Dress for Success CEO Leisa Sadler said.
“Dress for Success services are more important than ever as women, especially vulnerable women, continue to be disproportionately affected by the economic downturn.”
