Following confirmation of its first Sydney store, international giant Forever 21 is also preparing to open in Brisbane this week.
The retailer will open in Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall on October 16 – with a daytime launch event.
Doors will swing open at 10am, with free watches for the first customers in line and gifts for all shoppers throughout the day until stocks last.
Brisbane shoppers will be the first in the country to have access to the label’s summer collection, which will carry an array of colorful printed and patterned pieces.
The two level, 1900 square metre store and will stock women’s, men’s, kids and plus size clothing delivered daily.
Founder and Global CEO Don Chang will officially open the store, accompanied by Alli Simpson (flying in from LA) and Lisa from The Bachelor, who will mingle with the crowd throughout the day.
Chang opened his first store, then called Fashion 21, in downtown LA in 1984.
Since then, Forever 21 has become a retail giant with over 600 stores worldwide.
The Queen Street store will be the first Australian installment for the brand, followed by a second outlet set to open in Sydney’s Macquarie Centre in December 2014.
