Flower has opened its 30th retail store at Burnside Village Shopping Centre in Adelaide.

Flower managing director and founder Chris Hoffmann said the opening was a "critical" part in its expansion plans.

The WA-based company plans to double the size to 60 stores by 2015 .

Hoffmann's intention is expand the Flower business and to open at least another five stores this financial year and a further seven in 2013.

The Burnside store is one of Flower's newly designed stores, positioning the brand as a 'more upmarket boutique label'. Melbourne interior designer Doherty Lynch created the concept after a 'nationwide search' by Flower.

Flower has also started to expand in large shopping centres nationwide, with new stores in Sydney's Warringah Mall, Westfield Marion and West Lakes in Adelaide as well as Stirling centre in Bunbury.

Flower also has plans to open new stores in Queensland, Oasis Centre in Surfers Paridise and Westfield Carindale in Brisbane.
