Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia looks set to welcome a host of leading international department stores, retailers and e-tailers to its spring/summer 2012/13 instalment.
Industry firms have told ragtrader.com.au that in addition to social media figures such as Susie Bubble and Tommy Ton, organisers have secured a strong selection of trade buyers for the event.
These include e-tail players Net-A-Porter, My Wardrobe, Shopbop and Asos as well as leading traders Bauhaus and Joyce.
It is understood a major American department store is in the final stages of confirmation.
Other key delegates reportedly include W magazine, WWD, Milk magazine, Taylor Tomasi Hill and social media power players Street Pepper and Bryan Boy.
Beach Tomato, Dominion Post and H30 round up the initial international hit list.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia will run from April 30 to May 4 at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay, Sydney.
