International e-commerce marketplace Shoptiques has launched in Australia.
Having previously launched in the United States, Canada, the UK and France, the site is now live nationally.
With the addition of Australia, Shoptiques is now host to over 5,000 boutiques.
Shoptiques has launched with a curated collection of over 90 Australian boutiques, including, White Bohemian, Wolfe and Ordnance and Kisskill.
Founder and CEO Olga Vidisheva said this is a new chapter for the e-commerce vendor.
“The expansion to Australia extends our global footprint and enables consumers from over 30 countries to gain access to a very distinct and vibrant Australian designer and boutique scene.
“From day one, we considered ourselves a global company. With this expansion to Australia, we can really say we’re on our way.”
The platform allows small boutiques to sell their wares globally.
It also offers email marketing, inventory management, photography, and web hosting.
Shoptiques.com was founded by Olga Vidisheva in the spring of 2012 and is funded by Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, Binary Capital, Benchmark and William Morris Endeavor Talent Agency.
Andreessen Horowitz is a $4 billion venture capital firm, founded in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz.
