L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) organisers have confirmed the appointment of Graeme Lewsey to the newly created role of CEO, as its recently appointed creative director bows out from his position.
Lewsey will leave his senior executive role at IMG Fashion Asia Pacific, the firm responsible for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, to take up the new role with LMFF.
It is understood former LMFF creative director and publishing maestro Grant Pearce will not break with the festival entirely, staying on as an advisor to the annual event.
LMFF framed the shakeup as a collaboration between the two fashion heavyweights.
"With Grant and the incredible LMFF team's input, I believe we are set to deliver the strongest possible platform to showcase and enhance our creative industries," Lewsey said.
