Ragtrader can reveal that e-commerce platform Farfetch is experiencing 50% year-on-year growth in its Australian customer base.

The site, which connects shoppers with global boutiques through a single shopfront, has an even higher menswear customer growth figure of 78%.

APAC represents 26% of Farfetch sales, in figures released exclusively to Ragtrader by the online retailer.

Farfetch recently completed a US$110 million Series F round of investment, following a $1 billion valuation last year.

Since its launch, it has delivered more than 170,000 orders to Australia.

The largest single order, placed by a customer in Melbourne, included 45 items from eight boutiques globally.

Figures released to Ragtrader also revealed 12 Australian brand partners and six partner boutiques including Parlour X (Sydney), Le Louvre (Melbourne) and Elle Boutique (Perth).
