Marcus Crowe has been appointed as the new chief financial officer at online retailer Adore Beauty, and will take up the post from January 27 in the new year.
Crowe has over 20 years of broad experience in financial management, strategy and corporate governance across ASX-listed and the tier one chartered environment.
He has held prominent roles at The PAS Group, an apparel and footwear company that merged with Brand Collective in 2022. Brand Collective currently manages around 27 brands, including Champion, Reebok, Canada Goose, Superdry, Review and Black Pepper.
At PAS, he began as the general manager of finance, and was then promoted to chief financial officer and company secretary. Prior to PAS, he was the head of corporate finance at Target Australia.
Crowe moves over to Adore Beauty from Clark Rubber and Paragon Care, both of which he was CFO, too.
Crowe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Commercial Law and Financial Planning) and is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow Member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
At Adore Beauty, he will work alongside CEO Sacha Laing, a long-running executive in the fashion retail space. Laing held leading roles at Alquemie Group, General Pants, Colette by Colette Hayman and Country Road Group.
Adore Beauty was launched in 2000 as Australia’s first beauty-focused e-commerce website, and has since expanded into omnichannel with owned retail stores.
