Melbourne had much to celebrate this week.
Melbourne Fashion Festival welcomed a new naming rights partner, Virgin Australia, and announced a host of initiatives at a special launch on December 4.
The official campaign createive for 2014 was also unveiled at the gala, staged at Studio One in Docklands.
Special guests included designers included Yeojin Bae, Thurley's Helen O’Connor, Alpha60's Alex and Georgia Cleary and From Britten's Alex and Tim Britten-Finschi.
The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival will take place during the month of March in 2014.
It will include a host of runway shows, activations, business seminars and galas.
The Virgin Australian Melbourne Fashion Festival 2014 will launch with an opening event at Central Pier, Docklands.
Presented by David Jones and supported by Vogue Australia, it will play host to the largest designer line-up for the week with over 3000 guests.
The runway gala will feature collections from David Jones' stable of Australian designers.
