Earlier this week, luxury brand Guess toasted the launch of its latest summer collection with a star-studded celebration.
Celebrities, models, fashion media and social identities gathered at the newly renovated ‘The Island’ complex on Sydney Harbour for the #GUESSisland event.
The venue was transformed into a tropical paradise complete with lush palms, tiki huts and floral arrangements, in addition to an installation displaying Guess summer men’s and women’s collections.
The latest Guess summer range features key pieces for the coming season, including essential denim jeans and shorts, graphic tees, summer dresses and bold print pants.
Attendees included Ilan Kidron of The Potbelleez, VJ Kate Peck, models Jay Lyon and Simone Holtznagel, musicians Prinne Stevens, Kiyomi Vella and Sarah De Bono along with the fashion teams from Russh, InStyle, Shop Til You Drop, Cosmopolitan, Oyster and Yen.
Giests were also treated to a mixed seafood menu created by Simon Ekas featured an island-inspired selection of canapés including lime and coconut chicken skewers, sesame crusted tuna with wasabi avocado and pickled cucumber, herb and coconut crystal bay prawns and sweet potato arancini with lime aoli.
Entertainment was provided with a surprise performance by a troupe of 22 fire dancers, log drummers and fire eaters on a barge moored by ‘The Island’, before the dance floor filled to tunes spun by The Faders DJs.
