Earlier this week, streetwear retailer Incu celebrated will be the launch of the 'Candy Bar' concept, by womenswear designer Karen Walker as the latest stopover in a global tour by the brand.
As previously reported on
ragtarder.com.au, the Karen Walker 'Candy Bar' concept, launched
earlier this year at multi-brand boutique Restir in Japan and has
been steadily making its way around the world.
Walker has
hand-picked stores to receive a pop-up store disguised as a candy bar
for the duration of one month, with a shop featuring limited-edition
frames for the summer season in pastel and candy coloured hues.
The
launch party at Incu on Monday November 5 saw the fashion industry
and key media players celebrate the release of the concept in
Australia and the eyewear range, available from Incu Sydney from this
month.
Limited edition candy frames include 'Harvest' in milky
cream; 'Helter Skelter' in strawberry; 'Number Six' in toffee; 'Deep
Freeze' in bubblegum and; 'Perfect Day' in vanilla.
The Karen Walker Candy Bar has also featured across sites in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Shanghai.
