Sinerji has scooped the Ethical Fashion Award at this year's Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival.
Designers Louise Visser and Alice Jones have been creating their fashion label on the Sunshine Coast for eight years.
The label operates a flagship store at the Kunara Organic Marketplace, as well as stockists around Australia.
Jones said there has been a huge shift in consumer awareness toward more eco-friendly and ethical fashion throughout that time.
"The slow fashion movement is really gaining ground and people come to us because they want the soft, cool, breathable feel of natural fabrics, but also because they want to know that the people who manufacture the label, and the farmers who grow our organic cotton, are being treated fairly."
Sinerji uses bamboo and organic cotton, as well as natural and non-toxic dyes.
The pair said support from the local community has been vital in getting them where they are today.
"This award is really for our customers; we feel so lucky to have had amazing support from local people who have worn our label, and told their friends about us. The loyalty of our customers has helped us get where we are today and we simply couldn’t have done it without them," Visser said.
The Summer collection features cockatoos, kangaroo paw and desert wildflower colours and is available from Sinerji at Forest Glen, and online.
