A major international fashion etailer is preparing its first significant Australian exclusive.

Fast fashion etailer boohoo.com is launching its first dedicated collection for Australian consumers.

ragtrader.com.au can reveal the collection will be showcased to media for the first time on August 20.

Chief executive Carol Kane and boohoo.com designer Sarah Bullock will be on hand to announced the collection launch.

On May 16, the company held an intimate dinner for media to celebrate its first year in Australia.

Throughout this period, the etailer recorded strong sales through dedicated PR and marketing initiatives, including television advertising.

According to the latest Experian Hitwise figures, boohoo.com recorded the sixth greatest number of Australian visits for the fashion shopping category in June.

The number one spot went to ozZsale.com.au, followed by asos.com and theiconic.com.au
