A major international etailer has more than doubled its investment in the Australian market.

Net-A-Porter Group has appointed local representation for Mr Porter and The Outnet.

This follows the appointment of a public relations firm for Net-A-Porter in October, 2012.

MCMPR will now represent all three brands in Australia.

The agency confirmed it is working with the brands on localised brand and marketing strategies.

Mr Porter managing director Ian Tansley said Australia continues to be a strong focus for the group.

“Australia is one of our top-performing markets, and we are thrilled to be bringing on MCMPR as our on-the-ground communications support.

“As a business we strive to be the best and offer the best - across our content, our service and product offerings, down to our local partners and agencies around the world."
