Reed Exhibitions will bring back one-day 'Roadshow' presentations as part of its 2012 Online Retailer event program, for retailers looking to brush up on the online space and e-commerce.
The annual Online Retailer Conference and E-commerce Expo, which will take place on July 17 and 18 this year, is traditionally one of the largest e-commerce and digital marketing events for retailers in the Asia-Pacific region.
The 'Roadshow' presentations – one-day touring conferences, designed specifically for senior retail executives wanting to get ahead in online retailing – were introduced last year for the first time. This year, the initiative will return via three one-day events held in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney on March 5, 7 and 9 respectively.
Each event will include informative sessions, roundtable discussions, case studies and live site reviews, with sessions focusing on technology, innovation, marketing, mobile commerce, merchandising and investment and capital raising.
Topics will be presented by a line-up of industry thought-leaders, including US-based ModCloth founder Kerry Cooper, who will share her global e-commerce expertise and experience from working with big name brands such as Walmart and Levi’s.
Other speakers include: Ruby Anik, former senior vice president of brand marketing for J.C. Penney Company, Steven Noble, senior analyst at Forrester, Daniel Jarosch, founder & director at BrandsExclusive, StyleTread co-founder & managing director Mark Rowland, and online expert Martin Newman, director of Practicology.
