Womenswear label Elliatt will introduce a dedicated outerwear collection in April, prompted by growing demand from existing clients.
Elliatt designer Katie Pratt said the move was sparked by strong interest in knitwear and heavier pieces from customers based in Victoria.
The debut collection will sit at mid-market with prices from $54.95 to $194.95.
Pratt said she was inspired by an Alpine skiing holiday theme, with a mix of lighter-weight pieces also introduced for layering in autumn and spring.
Highlights include colourful faux-Angora knits and patterned velvet leggings, PU leather trim blazers and mini dresses, snowflake-inspired embellishments, winter shorts, maxi skirts and crepe frocks.
Textured dress jackets, chunky cardigans and rabbit-fur capes have also been thrown into the mix, with colours ranging from warm orange, citrine, blush and terracotta to oatmeal, grey, black and speckled olive.
Fabrications span faux Angora, stretch crepe, pleated jersey, twill, PU leather and wool and cotton blends.
