Retailers keen to crack the secrets of e-tailing will have the opportunity, with the Online Retailer Conference and E-commerce Expo set to hit Sydney in September.
The event, organised by National Media, will run from September 26 to 29 and is one of the largest e-commerce and digital marketing events for retailers in the Asia-Pacific region. Held at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sydney Darling Harbour, the Expo will offer a range of educational activities for retailers to sharpen their online business skills such as workshops, networking sessions, round-table retailer discussions, free seminars, and more than 76 individual learning sessions.
The Expo will also welcome 120 speciality exhibitors, and more than 100 international and local speakers, including Google managing director of commerce Tyler Hoffman, ASOS international director Jon Kamaluddin, Walmart.com senior vice president and general manager Steve Nave, and Style Tread managing director Mark Rowland among others.
The program will cover a range of topics, from understanding the competitive landscape and tapping e-commerce solutions to improving e-marketing programs and redesigning websites to improve sales, and will be broken up into five main sections as follows, to allow attendees to browse comfortably:
