Two iconic Australian brands have united for a fresh partnership.
Local designer Alice McCall has joined forces with beauty giant Ella Bache to launch a new tote bag for summer as both brands move to capitalise on new consumer markets.
The collaboration coincides with the launch of McCall's latest boutique for her eponymous label in Westfield Sydney, today.
The tie-up also marks Ella Bache's first Australian designer collaboration, which will coincide with the launch of the brand's latest campaign, featuring models Amanda Ware, Amelia Zadro, Annabella Barber, Kelsey Martinovich and Pixie Levinson.
The collaborative cotton printed bag will be available from October 2013 across Ella Baché salons and all David Jones stores nationally, with the piece to feature a botanical flora print representative of McCall’s Summer One collection titled ‘Her name was Lola’.
Commenting on the collaboration with Ella Bache, McCall said it would provide the perfect opportunity to expand on the lifestyle aspect of her brand.
“I am really excited to work with Ella Baché and especially on a collaborative tote bag, where you can chuck your swimmers or workout wear into a cool bag and go to the gym or beach between work. I love the idea of building style into your life,” she said.
