Department store David Jones has overhauled its customer loyalty program.
For the first time ever, all David Jones cards will now have the option of securing loyalty rewards.
This follows the launch of Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) points as a reward option on the David Jones Gold and Platinum American Express cards in August 2012.
Cardholders will be offered rewards for every dollar spent in-store and online and will remain free of annual fees.
David Jones Storecard members will now be able to choose to earn rewards and have their reward points automatically redeemed for either:
• Qantas Frequent Flyer points (0.5 QFF points for every dollar spent in-store or online at David Jones); or
• David Jones Gift Card points (one Gift Card Point for every dollar spent in-store or online at David Jones).
David Jones has also launched a limited edition, by invitation Heritage service for customers who applied and received a Storecard before 1996.
The Heritage Storecard will feature David Jones’ original houndstooth border and the David Jones company crest.
David Jones CEO and managing Director Paul Zahra said, these initiatives are a company first.
“We are delighted for the first time in our company’s history to be able to offer loyalty rewards across our family of David Jones cards.
“The rewards program on our Platinum and Gold cards is amongst the most attractive in the market."
